SHS STUDENT PARKING PERMIT
Attention ALL student drivers. If you drive to school and park on campus you need to make sure the following steps have been completed prior to parking on campus.
- Completed/Signed Parking Permit Application
- Copy of valid WA State Drivers License
- Copy of current Auto Insurance (All vehicles parking on campus need to be properly insured)
- $75.00 for the year
Once you have turned in all of your paperwork and paid for your Parking Space, you will be given a Parking Tag with your selected Parking Space number printed on the Parking Tag to hang on your rear-view mirror. Your Parking Tag helps staff easily identify authorized student vehicles that are cleared to park in the lower student parking lot. Executive ASB students are the ONLY students that are allowed to purchase a Parking Space for the upper ASB Parking area.
Students are NOT ALLOWED to park in Staff Parking Spaces, Visitor Parking Spaces or any other NON Student designated Parking Spaces.
Students need to have their Parking Permits completed and their Parking Tags visibly hung on their rear view mirrors by Friday, September 15th in order to park on campus as VIOLATIONS will be handed out to those students not in compliance. Multiple VERBAL ANNOUNCMENTS have already been made to all SHS student body regarding our Parking Policy. Students found parking on campus without a valid Parking Permit/Parking Tag will be issued a VIOLATION FINE. You can find a complete explanation of our Driving and Parking Policy in the Student Handbook. Students were shown where the Student Handbook is online and they went over them during class. You can find a copy of the Student Handbook online by going to the SHS webpage and under Menu, you will see Student Handbook. Driving and Parking Policy is located on page 19-20.
