RE: PUBLIC NOTICE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sultan School Board Plans Special Joint Meeting Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
The public is advised that the Board of Directors of Sultan School District will hold a special joint meeting on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the Snohomish County Fire District #5 Public Safety Center located at 32905 Cascade View Drive in Sultan. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. and is expected to last sixty (60) minutes. There will be a reception following graduation, ending at 8:00 pm. The purpose of the special meeting will be to honor the participants of the first graduating class of the City of Sultan Citizens Academy.
The community partners honoring the citizens include the Fire District 5 Board of Fire Commissioners, Sultan City Council, and the Sultan School District Board of Directors.
Therefore, per Washington State OPMA requirements, this notice is given to acknowledge there may be a quorum of board members, but providing confirmation that no action or decisions will be taken by any board members during the event.
