The Advanced Ag Technology and Welding classes at Sultan High are learning to design and create projects by using the industry-based software, Autocad. Student designs are then cut out of steel or aluminum with a Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) plasma cutter. The United States flags are $150 per flag. The proceeds will go back into the program to support the students!

Turk Blue Crew, what is that you ask? Turk Blue Crew is a way to support your Turks as they engage in extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities are known to improve student's grades, self-esteem, and overall sense of belonging. These activities include athletics, clubs, band, drama, TurkPride.TV, school dances, and more.

SHS Counselors Ms. Garibay and Ms. Pederson have been working tirelessly to get through all the student schedule change requests forms and work on student’s schedules. SHS Junior - Landen Bauer-Galle completed his CNC Plasma/Woodworking project for his Advanced Wood Technology class with teacher Mr. Widaman. Nice work Landen!
Ms. Corson’s Advanced Culinary Arts Class completed their finals last week. Students created a tortellini dish with homemade Alfredo. Students used their creative expression to add other ingredients and flavors to their dishes. Students had 90 minutes to create their dishes.
They did a fantastic job.
The Monday 1.22.24 Board Meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday 1.30.24 at **6 pm** in the SES Library. This time change is only for this meeting. Sharing an exciting opportunity from the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR-DSHS) and ANEW:
A Construction Boot Camp for students with IEPs and 504s plans is gearing up for Summer 2024! Students learn about construction and the trades during this 40-hour experience. If students attend all 40 hours, they are also eligible for a stipend from ANEW in addition to getting to work on fun projects related to construction!
ANEW provides all tools, supplies, and safety equipment; students are supervised for all 40 hours and generally work in groups no larger than 20 students. Please review the attached documents for more information and contact information.
